More test shots...

Lighting Test

I finally decided to buy a lighting kit to use at home, rather than always renting them. I took a couple of test shots (of myself) to see how they look.
Not too bad! I am excited for some upcoming shoots!
For these, I used two soft boxes for an even light.

SYMBIOSE: Art Show in the Netherlands

A couple of months ago, I sent in a concept I thought would fit the theme of this art show that were taking submissions, and they accepted my work. The theme of the show is symbiosis ( the interaction between two different organisms living in close physical association.)

Here are the two images I sent to them.

These images represent myself as two beings, coexisting in the same space. When you have only yourself to rely on for entertainment, or conversation, you truly feel as though you are completely confined within yourself.

Vespa Girl Design

For my niece's birthday, I had a couple of my designs printed on shirts for her. These are things I am going to start selling on etsy within the next month or two.

Progression of a concept

A couple of years ago, I had a thought. I started to work through it and then it just faded away. Today, this thought, or concept, came back to me and I am going to work towards finishing it.

Summer Heat...

Yesterday was so hot I felt like I was going to pass out. Is it wrong to complain a little after all the hate on the cold, rainy weather?! I actually love the sun being out, and wearing pretty little dresses and no jacket :) Last night it clouded over and threatened an awful storm, with strong winds and lightening, but it did not stay long at all. Here is an image I took when I was leaving work.
